I love seeing how logos evolved over the years. Not Peugeot-riffic, but here’s my favorite.

Not entirely accurate, the ‘2002' filled in lion was introduced some time in the mid-late 90s. The 306 initially had the old 1980 lion but with the facelift in 1997 it got the ‘2002' one. For example. I’ve got the ‘2002' one on my 2000 406 as well.

Great logos none the less!

Early ‘97 306:

They’re both really good, but I think I dig the outline most.

“The logo refers to a prehistoric fable, in which observations of lions rolling stones led to the invention of the wheel.”

Which is a pretty badass image to use for a car company. I always liked the reason why they used the lion pushing the stone.

GM should have brought Holden over here, and told them about what the emblem represented first thing. Then have ute smokey burnouts!
